Saint's Cafe is proud to serve what we believe to be the some of the greatest coffees in the world.

With award-winning, direct trade, Intelligentsia Coffee and the skillfully-roasted small batches of Counter Culture Coffee, we put something very special into every cup of coffee.

Intelligentsia Direct Trade™ Coffee

Intelligentsia Coffee is a boutique coffee roaster that offers direct trade coffees. To qualify as Intelligentsia Direct Trade™, a true relationship must exist between the growers of the coffee and Intelligentsia and the coffee must be purchased according to the following principals:

Coffee quality must be exceptional.
The verifiable price to the grower or the local coop, not simply the exporter, must be at least 25% above the Fair Trade price.
The grower must be committed to healthy environmental practices.
The grower must be committed to sustainable social practices.
Intelligentsia representatives must visit the farm or cooperative village at least once per harvest season, understanding that we will most often visit three times per year: pre-harvest to craft strategy, during the harvest to monitor quality, and post-harvest to review and celebrate the successes.
All the trade participants must be open to transparent disclosure of financial deliveries back to the individual farmers.

Counter Culture Coffee

Counter Culture Coffee is our latest offering. Their mission is to create cutting-edge coffee people. . . a mission that we embrace. Life is too short to drink sub-par coffee, right? Counter Culture celebrates the individuals, farms, and cultures behind each harvest and only sells coffee at its peak of flavor and freshness. Counter Culture claims that “coffee is a connective force that has the potential to bring out the best in people.” True that.

The Clover 1s

Ahhhhhh. Our new baby. The Clover 1s. The Clover is a stickler for perfecting the nuances of the most important brewing parameters: grind size, dose, water temperature, and contact time. If Clover were a human, brewing coffee, you might call her anal-retentive (but who wants to hear anal and coffee muttered in the same sentence). Clover takes ANY bean from our menu and turns it into the freshest perfection in a mug you'll ever taste. Drop in and become a believer.
