Frequently Asked Questions

Think you know everything there is to know about Saint's Cafe? Check out our FAQs below. . . and we'll see just how much you know.

Q: Where do your coffee & teas come from?
A: We are not strictly sold on one purveyor. Always finding new products through our travels, we love to try new things. Currently we are offering coffee from Chicago-based Intelligentsia, Durham-based Counter Culture Coffee, and Espresso through Dillanos Coffee Roasters of Buckley, Washington.

Q: What is direct trade coffee?
A: Intelligentsia states their criteria for Direct Trade on their website and we concur with their values!

Q: What other products do you offer?
A: We offer an ever-changing selection of brilliant new goodies. Although we can't promise that we'll always have your preferred-delight—we tend to stock favorites such as: locally-baked muffins, scones, cakes, award-winning Selma’s cookies, biscotti, certified-kosher rugelah and macaroons, quiche, bagels, and some other surprises that your sweet tooth may desire!

Q: Can I get my coffee to-go?
A: Yes, but why would you when you can drink it here? Enjoy the atmosphere and personalities in the café, while utilizing one of our ceramic mugs or cups to help save a tree.

Q: Do you sell coffee by the pound? Or in bulk?
A: Yes, and yes. We offer a changing selection of roasted coffees—depending on what is available that season and our stock. We can also grind it to your request in-house.

Q: Do you have Wi-Fi?
A: Yes and it is free! Just be sure to bring your laptop. Desktops. . . well, they kind of take up all of the table space for your coffee and goodies.

Q: Can I rent out the shop for an event?
A: Yes! We've had birthday parties, CD-release parties, and other events in the café. Your imagination is the only limiting factor. We'd love to talk to you about planning an event at Saint's!

Q: Parking downtown's a pain, any suggestions?
A: Sure. There are actually hundreds of parking spaces within a block of Saint's. There are metered parking lots directly across the street and on Fraser Street (between Beaver Ave. and College Ave.). There also are two parking garages a half a block away on the corner of Beaver and Fraser. Street parking is also available.
